The challenges of hybridization
There are three major challenges to hybrid motorization of a sailing boat: implementation, efficiency and certification.
In addition to the choice of components that revolve around an electric motor (batteries, BMS, generator, propellers…), impacting its efficiency, the major difficulty is the certification of the components and assembly as such.
After three years of research and development, we have come up with a successful, efficient solution that guarantees certified, approved assembly.
Type-approved propulsion
We have obtained CE and ICNN (Institut Certification et Normalisation pour Nautisme) approval and certification for all our assemblies, freeing the future owner from cumbersome, costly and uncertain administrative procedures.
Hybseago integrates perfectly into a cruising sailboat. We offer boaters a sailing experience in line with their values. It is suitable for all types of coastal or offshore programs.
